How I work
My approach is client-centred and relational. Honouring the dignity of my clients, I infuse my work with humour, humility, and genuine curiosity. I work with you to build understanding of your patterns and the issues at hand as we journey together through the therapeutic process. Feeling safe and supported in your therapy is important – I am committed to creating this with you so that you can experience the vulnerability necessary for change.
Biography
I have been working as a helping professional with clients from a diverse array of backgrounds for nearly a decade. I am currently working toward a doctorate in behavioural sciences through California Southern University. I am also in the process of completing the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certification program and am passionate about this tool’s use. Currently, I provide outpatient counselling to teens, adults, and elderly individuals struggling with a wide variety of mental health issues within a hospital setting.
