Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Art Psychotherapist
How I work
Finding a way to express yourself via colors, patterns, or scribbles means that you are leaving your unique mark in this world. And the best part is that you don’t need to have any prior experience or skills in art-making — the process of art therapy is completely intuitive and adaptable to your needs.
Whether you’re looking to overcome anxiety, depression, or grief; manage stress or overwhelm; or simply tap into your inner creativity, art therapy is the perfect tool to connect with your inner thoughts and emotions and actively re-build and strengthen the connections between the mind, body, and soul.
I specialize in virtual telehealth therapy, and most of my clients are middle-aged women. I primarily work closely with immigrants, new moms, and women going through transitions in their lives. My approach is humanistic, client-centered, and culturally sensitive. My sessions are rooted in a holistic, safe, non-judgmental, trauma-informed approach.
Biography
Beyond my professional journey, I have spent the last 10 years in three different continents, and I value learning about different cultures and traditions. If I am not in sessions with my clients, I am mostly hanging out with my teenagers — if they are up for it, of course! My time with my family is always a priority, and I have learned that you can’t go wrong with muffins, so I am diving into gluten-free and dairy-free culinary adventures whenever I can!
My journey to this space has been a fusion of unexpected turns and profound discoveries, and I hope to accompany you along your journey, just as you are — every part of you matters.
