Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
In this type of therapy, the planned or supervised use of psychedelics — such as psilocybin, MDMA, LSD, or ketamine — is typically combined with talk therapy. By experiencing altered cognitive and emotional states under the influence of these substances, individuals can undergo cognitive reframing and re-work their self-identities. Evidence suggests that this form of therapy can be especially helpful in treating PTSD, addiction, depression, and anxiety, but it is not suitable for everyone.
At Blue Rabbit, we do not support or offer psychedelic experience therapy. We do not encourage or support the use of psychedelics during your therapy sessions. However, we can support the integration of your personal psychedelic experiences (outside of the therapeutic space) with intention-setting sessions prior to a trip or integration sessions after a trip. We can help you process your psychedelic experience and use those insights to improve your sense of balance and holistic well-being.
