Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a highly practical, problem-focused, and action-oriented form of therapy. By focusing on the here and now, it enables us to develop skills and strategies for the problems we encounter in our daily lives. During CBT, you will examine how you make sense of the world and how you are impacted by these perceptions. You will then learn to question and, over time, change the thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs that are posing an issue. CBT is especially useful in treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues, and substance use problems.
